I have over 30 years of experience working with various client issues, including depression, anxiety, loss, trauma, HIV, autism support, and family challenges-most specifically substance abuse of a loved one and military family issues. My clinical focus is primarily on depression, anxiety, family substance abuse/codependency, and HIV. I tailor my counseling and treatment approaches uniquely to each individual, drawing from a compassionate strength-based perspective. I utilize a combination of cognitive-behavioral, problem-solving, and psychodynamic therapies, and I also integrate spirituality and 12-step models into my practice as appropriate. I hold a Master's in Social Work from California State University, Long Beach, and a Bachelor's degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
