My goal is to help you find the strength that is already inside of you and bring that to light. Each client is different and has needs unique to their upbringing and life circumstances. I enjoy learning about your past circumstances, ways of thinking, and current situation to find the best way to move forward to achieve progress. My focus Anxiety can hit at any moment and then take you down for the rest of the day. In therapy, you can find the source and then learn ways to move toward peace. You can have a plan tailored to you that will help you face these issues. My approach I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with most clients. Together, we work to identify the exact feelings you are experiencing and the thoughts behind those feelings. There are times clients need Dialectical Behavior Therapy or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy. Therapy can be integrated depending on each person's needs. My communication style I provide a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I practice active listening and will give you opportunities to reflect on your experiences with you as an empathetic partner. You will find that the therapy room is for you to be yourself and free. My journey to mental healthcare I love helping people grow in their mental health. Nothing compares to seeing someone find peace after a long stretch of hardship or find clarity within themselves. My goals for you As we get to know each other, you will identify your goals for therapy. I will work with you to make a plan to meet those goals. As we move forward, we can tailor your plan as you grow to make your plan adaptive to your needs. Our first session In our first session, you will have a place to express what you want out of therapy. A brief history of your life is helpful for me to have an idea of what has impacted you. We will review your history and your goals to develop a plan for future sessions.
