I believe the client is the expert on themself and strive to empower clients with insight and coping skills to make more intentional choices to become the best versions of themselves. My focus I work with young adult clients struggling with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, communication, and/or life transitions that may be impacting their relationships, ability to make decisions, and overall life satisfaction. My communication style I believe the therapeutic relationship is the most effective tool and work to provide clients a safe place to openly communicate about their struggles without judgment. My journey to mental healthcare I have a passion for empowering and supporting others to access their unique skills and build on those to reach their full potential. My goals for you My approach to goal setting with clients involves collaboratively and clearly defining an observable goal of what they are hoping to gain from therapy. My first session with you In our first session, clients can expect an initial meeting to get to know a little about each other to begin building a trusting relationship. Based on the client's comfort and desired pace, we will discuss background information about what influenced their current state of being as well as what they are hoping for out of the therapeutic process.
