I have 3+ years of experience in the field of addiction and mental health-focused outpatient therapy and 2 years of experience in an inpatient psychiatric facility. I have an interest in helping people figure out their substance use problems, address mental healthcare, learn stress management and anger management, explore trauma, and alleviate relationship conflicts. My approach
I aim to provide a client-centered, holistic, and empathetic approach to each client, meeting you where you're at in life and focusing on your goals and needs. I focus on short-term solutions to address current issues and stop them from exacerbating before going deeper and finding the root cause. I like using humor and psychoeducation effectively so that therapy doesn't seem like a chore but an exciting way to process thoughts and feelings.
My focus
My experience has been focused on attending to addiction issues, concerns about impulsivity, the relationship between mental health and impulsivity, and building self-esteem through positive psychology. If you feel you struggle with any of these issues or may need general support, I believe I can help you through this process. Therapy doesn't need to be a long-term commitment but rather a temporary measure to achieve stability and learn skills to reach your goals.
