Hello, thanks for visiting my page. I am Dr. Banigo, and I love to collaborate with clients and provide the assistance they need. I am a skilled clinician with a Master’s in Social Work from Morgan State University, and I offer clinical supervision to clinicians focused on sharpening their clinical skills. I also conduct research and serve as an adjunct professor.
What should a new client know about working with you?
As a consultant, you are guaranteed to have a 15-minute initial consultation to clarify your needs and if I am the right consultant to meet those needs.
You can expect to work with a collaborative and detail-oriented clinician. Hence, I will collaborate with you to clearly define how I would help you achieve your positive goals/objectives.
I consider it important to provide ongoing communication with you for needed feedback and to ensure that your counseling needs are met.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

It was awkward meeting with her although I had been looking forward to due to her positive reviews. The whole meeting which was supposed to be an hour but cut to 30 minutes was about her personal assessment she put together. While she was asking me questions, she was also referring different providers to me. I didn’t feel comfortable and welcomed.
