I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and a Bachelor's degree from Southern Connecticut State University. I have experience working with many cultures and ages. I specialize in supporting anxious and/or depressed individual adult clients, using Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Narrative Therapy to foster a brighter outlook. My approach I utilize Client-Centered, Narrative, and Cognitive Behavioral therapies in our work together. These modalities help gain insight, strengthen coping and communication skills, increase self-awareness, and capture how one perceives their unique narrative. My focus I currently work with individual adult clients from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. I am especially comfortable treating those experiencing anxiety, trauma, depression, low self-worth, and adapting to life transitions of all kinds. My communication style I consistently create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere where clients can feel safe to explore. My goal is for each client to feel truly heard and seen throughout our sessions. My journey to mental healthcare Losing my mother to depression when I was two deeply influenced my path into psychology. My brother's lifelong struggle with PTSD from that trauma, which tragically ended in his death by suicide, further fueled my passion to ease anxiety, depression, and confusion arising from difficult life circumstances. Rather than succumbing to hardships, I help my clients discover the strength that exists within them. My goals for you Together, we will collaborate to create individualized goals tailored to your needs. These goals will be regularly reviewed to support the development of new behaviors for a more satisfying life.
