Getting to know Dominique Elston
I work with LGBTQ+, intercultural, and interracial couples and individuals to help them understand one another by exploring their pasts and finding solutions to current stressors. Using Solution Focused Couples Therapy, I assist couples and individuals in understanding their internal and external conflicts, identifying the triggers behind these conflicts, and developing healthier, more intimate relationships.
I support couples and individuals in processing past trauma while encouraging them to express their emotions to those around them. I specialize in working with clients who identify as BIPOC and LGBTQ+, as well as those experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, and the effects of growing up with family trauma.
I hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University, Los Angeles, which has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to provide compassionate, effective care.

I'm a firm believer in people getting through things, not over things. Therapy is about being able to grow even when your uncomfortable. I help clients navigate their past and present stressors.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
