Dylan Quigley, LPC

Psychotherapist
CO
Hi there, I'm Dylan! I graduated from Rutgers University in New Jersey with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I then moved to Colorado to attend the University of Denver, where I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology. Since then, I have worked in mental health with dual-diagnosis and primary mental health clients. My expertise includes Depression, Anxiety, Psychosis, Risk Assessment, Personality Disorders, Men’s Issues, Family Struggles, Trauma, and Substance Abuse. **My approach** I use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to help you achieve your goals. I also use humor, challenging questions, a direct approach, and a lighthearted touch. My philosophy is to get to the point of helping you while having fun doing it. I love being present as clients find new ways to navigate life and change their experiences. **My focus** I see clients ages 13 and up struggling with mental health or substance use issues, sometimes both. I have experience working with clients with personality disorders and trauma as well. **My communication style** As your therapist, my goal is to help you become a better version of yourself. Therapy’s role is to help you achieve the life you want. I use a two-pronged approach: starting with immediate solution-focused brief interventions, including coping skills, then building on the connection to explore root causes of challenges. **My journey to mental healthcare** I always knew I wanted to help people. I explored four different career paths and majors during undergrad, and therapy was the one for me. Helping others achieve their goals, regain their lives, or accelerate positively is what drives me.
