CO
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master's in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. I work with adults who experience depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, career challenges, and ADHD, to name a few. I am also a Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC), supporting adults struggling with drug and alcohol abuse as well as other addictions such as sexual addiction, pornography, and gambling. My approach My therapeutic approach with all my clients begins with building therapeutic rapport. I believe therapeutic rapport is one of the most important aspects of the therapeutic relationship. Therefore, in every session, I will endeavor to create an atmosphere where you feel heard, safe, and respected so you feel comfortable being open about what is troubling you. The approaches I use in sessions vary based on the needs of each client. Some of the therapeutic approaches I use most commonly are Cognitive Processing Therapy, Mindfulness, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. These approaches and others help us create a path in sessions to move forward in treatment and reach your goals. My focus I work with adults of all ages who are experiencing various mental health symptoms caused by anxiety, trauma, depression, life changes, ADHD, and career transitions. I also work with adults struggling with various addictions or alcohol and drug abuse. I use different therapeutic approaches so we can work together to develop reachable and attainable goals that are important to you. Based on your therapy goals, we will build skills you can use in any situation, helping you feel confident and able to see and build a positive outlook on your life. My communication style I believe therapeutic rapport is one of the most important aspects of the therapeutic relationship.
