Eileen Espinoza, LCSW

Psychotherapist
CA
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Fullerton. I look forward to working with clients navigating life transitions such as adolescence and young adulthood, becoming a parent, grief and loss, and new diagnoses. I have experience working with diverse populations, including perinatal parents, early childhood, adolescents, and young adults. My therapeutic approach focuses on supporting clients through trauma-informed care. Some of the common interventions I use include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strengths-Based Method, Motivational Interviewing, Grief Work, Mindfulness, and Attachment Theory. Most recently, I have worked with adolescents, young adults, and their families. Many of my clients face mood disorders, symptoms of trauma, and complex family dynamics. I also have significant experience supporting perinatal parents, including those experiencing high-risk pregnancies, birth trauma, bonding and attachment challenges, and lactation difficulties. As a Certified Lactation Education Counselor, I provide psychoeducation and support throughout a parent’s lactation journey. I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe regardless of their backgrounds or challenges. I encourage my clients to practice self-compassion and acceptance as they move through the different phases of their lives.
