Psychotherapist

I hold the belief that impartial therapeutic assistance can be beneficial for all individuals regardless of their circumstances. My approach Everyone deserves the opportunity to express themselves and receive support. Whether someone is experiencing a minor emotional slump or requiring extra assistance in their daily life, there should be no stigma attached. My focus Adult individuals and couples can expect a kind and nurturing environment in our sessions, a safe space to express their innermost thoughts and work through their emotions. My communication style When we are in session, I actively listen, use open-ended questions, reflect, and paraphrase client statements. My journey to mental healthcare I have always been interested in Human Behavior, reading many books on the subject. When my children were grown, I started looking for programs at schools since all I had was a HS diploma. I earned my degrees, did my internship, and got my license. After so many years of experience, I am still amazed at how different we all are. I love seeing people grow and find their passion in life. My goals for you With my clients, I help identify what they want to achieve in therapy, how to set realistic goals, and teach coping skills such as Mindfulness Meditation and problem-solving skills. By encouraging clients to take responsibility for their actions and track their progress. My first session with you My first session with my client would be getting to know them, why they are seeking therapy, and gathering information on their background and goals. This session would also include discussing confidentiality, policies, and my approach.
