Getting to know Elisabeth Farnsworth

I have been a practicing Marriage and Family Therapist since 2001. I earned my Master's in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, Irvine. In 2005, I was trained by Postpartum Support International (PSI) and have specialized in the treatment of Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders since that time. From 2005 to 2017, I served as PSI's Orange County Coordinator, offering support and connecting women to community resources. In addition to my private practice, I taught LMFT students at the undergraduate and graduate levels for 10 years and became certified in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy in 2015. In 2017, I helped develop Hoag Hospital's Maternal Mental Health program, where I served as Lead Therapist. I was trained by the Beck Institute in 2018 in the treatment of Anxiety Disorders.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
