“Beth offers an approach to therapy that works for me - she's very supportive and thoughtful and also brings an accountability angle that is really helpful to my growth. Doing parts work with her has released a lot of inaccurate feelings and stories I've carried for a long time.”

Getting to know Elizabeth Deja

Hi there, I'm Elizabeth! My name is Beth Deja, LCSW. I specialize in anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. I earned my Master's in Social Work from Grand Valley State University. My approach The most common treatment modalities I use are a mixture of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS-parts work), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT). I like to approach each person as a unique individual who needs specific approaches and plans that work for them, not generic approaches that work for the masses. I tell my clients that we will do experiments to find out what will work and what won't work as well. We can always reassess and adjust. This is all about YOU and what works for YOU. :) My focus Are you feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, trapped in unhealthy relationship patterns, or having difficulty setting boundaries? Do you find yourself avoiding problems, or does a fear of losing control prevent you from expressing yourself or connecting with others? If you have answered yes to any of these questions, I am here to help you! My communication style I like to approach therapy with curiosity, compassion, and humor. One of the biggest compliments that means the most to me is that people feel comfortable with me and feel that they can trust me fairly quickly.
