Elizabeth Iniguez, LCSW

Psychotherapist
CA
Hi. My name is Elizabeth Iniguez, and I'm a licensed clinical therapist with a Master's in Social Work from California State University, Dominguez Hills. I'm what's considered an integrative or eclectic therapist, which means I draw upon various modalities, taking what I believe is most relevant from different methods to incorporate into my sessions, depending on what each individual is going through. My approach I am a relaxed, easy-going, and warm person. I use a psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral approach to understand how unconscious and conscious thoughts and behaviors affect a person's life. Then I draw upon various research-based interventions depending on each person's goals in therapy. Whether someone is coming in to change behavior patterns, heal from the past or trauma, overcome a fear, phobia, or constant and cyclical unproductive thinking or worrying (as with anxiety or an OCD-spectrum disorder), navigate a difficult situation (work, school, relationship, or family stressor or a major life event), or regulate their emotions (depression, anger, anxiety), I tailor my approach to their needs. My focus I enjoy working with a variety of people. I specialize in the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Trichotillomania, Dermatillomania, Hoarding Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, depression, and anxiety disorders. My communication style I truly listen and care. I have unconditional positive regard and acceptance for everyone I work with.
