What should a new client know about working with you?

I have experience with a wide range of mental health conditions. Some of my specialties include substance misuse, mood disorders, life transitions, and behavioral change. I treat from a trauma-informed perspective, meaning we will work on easing symptoms while also exploring the deeper roots beneath them. Clients often describe me as authentic, personable, and kind. My style is supportive, but also collaborative, meeting you where you are while helping you take steps toward where you want to be.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Together, we will identify goals that feel both attainable and meaningful. I regularly check in with clients to ensure goals still feel aligned, and to celebrate progress along the way! In our first session, we will spend time learning about what brought you to therapy. I will ask some questions to understand what you are hoping to work on, and I will also give you space to share your story and what led you to reach out. From there, we will begin building a path forward together.
