Getting to know Erika Hernandez
Deciding to enter into professional counseling can be a scary idea, but I believe an individual’s ability to recognize that there is a problem, coupled with their willingness to work to find a solution, demonstrates courage. I have experience in the areas of trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University, Los Angeles. My passion is working alongside my clients—including adolescents and adults—to help bring healing to those who have been through a traumatic or stressful experience.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I aim to provide a nurturing, friendly, compassionate and energetic approach to connect with my clients and create a healthy therapeutic relationship. I strive to help my clients find healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their family and personal relationships so they can feel healthy, whole, and safe. Therapy is not an easy process, but I can assure you I will walk alongside with you.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
