My focus My work has mainly been focused on those suffering from anxiety, depression, and trauma-based issues. I can help you set up a plan that feels comfortable for you moving through this process. My communication style I find that clear and open communication, without judgment, works best for both me as a therapist as well as those I work with. I feel it's important to know if my approach is helping or if you'd like adjustments along the way. My journey to mental healthcare During my early college years, I suffered from anxiety around school and relationship issues. I saw a wonderful therapist who helped me navigate this difficult time in my life. I was nervous about this interaction, but she helped me normalize what I was going through and gave me very valuable tips and tricks to help with my anxiety. It really positively changed my life and made me want to help others as she had helped me. My goals for you Everyone has a different goal and timeline with their therapy. An individualized treatment plan is important to make sure your needs are getting met and don't feel too overwhelmed or unachievable. Because of this, I like to set aside time to check in on treatment goals and how the client is feeling about their goals from week to week. A treatment goal is not something that is set in stone, but rather a fluid process that can be adjusted as we go.
