Psychotherapist
CO
Hi there, I'm Esmé! Hello. I'm Esmé, and I've been a Licensed Professional Counselor for 19 years. I use EMDR and Internal Family Systems to help clients process trauma. My talk therapy is person-centered. I'm warm and accepting of all. My approach EMDR, IFS, Person-Centered therapy. My focus I enjoy working with people in the queer, LGBTQIA+, kink, poly, and trauma communities. I have late-diagnosed ADHD and can help clients who think and process differently. My communication style I provide a safe, confidential space for clients to feel and be vulnerable. My goal is to help you feel and function better so you can graduate from therapy. My journey to mental healthcare I have a BA in Sociology and a Master's in Psychology from Regis University. I was working in inpatient psychiatry when I hurt my back and found that the only way to continue helping others was to become a counselor. I'm the counselor I needed when I was a kid. My goals for you I ask what you hope to get out of therapy. My first session with you Easy conversation. I like to gather information over the first few sessions rather than ask all the intake questions in the first session.
