Gabrielle Hollis, LCSW

Psychotherapist
CO
Hi there, I'm Gabrielle! Hello! My name is Gabrielle Hollis, and I?m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master?s in Social Work from the University of Louisville. I have been providing therapy for over five years. I take a person-centered approach combined with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to help you reach your therapeutic goals. I primarily focus on life adjustments, anxiety, anger management, and depression. My approach CBT and DBT are the cornerstones of my practice. They help address the underlying issues or concerns and improve our situation by changing our mindset, our circumstances, or both! I will meet you where you are and work at your pace. My focus Typically, I work with teens and young adults adjusting to life?s stressors, as well as those struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma. I?m trained in multiple modalities to create a personal treatment plan tailored to your needs. My communication style I pride myself on creating a friendly yet professional environment. I use a gentle approach, especially while building rapport and addressing concerns that come up in sessions, to help you rewire your thoughts and beliefs so we can challenge them together. My journey to mental healthcare I realized how needed therapy was during my internship at the Department of Advocacy. Just feeling heard and validated can do so much healing. I enjoy seeing clients make the changes they?ve long needed and hearing how much better they feel. My goals for you I?m all ears when it comes to what you want to work on. If I hear something I believe we should address or add to our goals, I will bring it up. If you?re ready and agree, we will add it; if not, we?ll save it for another time. No worries. My first session with you I?ll ask some questions while you share your background, history, and concerns. The intake will include questions about family, friends, work, mental health history, and medications.
