I utilize an integrative therapeutic approach focused on helping you identify unhealthy patterns and build resilience to move past fears and find the personal strength to live a more authentic life. My approach The term Integrative Psychotherapy describes two aspects of my work. First, I use an integrative approach that may draw from different psychological methods, primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; however, I also incorporate elements of Family Systems, Narrative, Rogerian, and Trauma-Based Therapy, depending on your individual needs. I support the process of integrating different parts of who you are-aligning your thoughts, feelings, and actions-to help you connect with your authentic self. My focus Over the years, I have worked with a wide variety of individuals, primarily dealing with depression, anxiety, and the effects of trauma. These days, I often work with individuals who have significant life experience and are striving to come to terms with their past while creating their future. I find I work best with those who want to be challenged to open up to new ways of thinking about and experiencing their world. Ultimately, I aim to spark the inner healer in those I work with, helping build resilience that lasts beyond our time together. My communication style I like to engage deeply with those I work with and strive to create a space where you feel understood and recognized. My journey to mental healthcare Being a psychotherapist is part of my own journey toward living a more authentic life, and this work has been shaped by a variety of life experiences.
