My name is Guisela Gutierrez, and I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am a proud Angeleno with Central American/Mexican roots and a mother of two. For the past 12 years, I have served in the Los Angeles community as a school social worker and consultant, providing counseling, crisis intervention, and support to individuals and families. While I have a strong understanding of Latinx and first-generation experiences, including navigating cultural expectations, identity, family roles, and systemic barriers, I welcome and work with clients of all cultural, ethnic, and gender backgrounds. I strive to create a space that is culturally responsive, inclusive, and grounded in each client’s lived experience. I provide client-centered individual therapy for young and middle-aged adults, whether you are navigating life on your own or balancing the responsibilities of parenthood. I support clients experiencing concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and interpersonal challenges. For parents, I also offer guidance and support in navigating parenting and school-related systems and challenges, helping you advocate for your child while managing your own well-being. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge.
