Getting to know Hayley Mauro

My name is Hayley Mauro, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California. I have an open and warm therapeutic approach and aim to meet clients where they are at. My approach I offer a client-centered, strengths-based approach to therapy to help you move through life’s difficulties. My focus I am passionate about working with teens and adults dealing with depression, anxiety, life’s transitions, grief, and trauma. My communication style I provide a space free from judgment so you feel safe and supported. My tone is compassionate and easy-going. I am open-minded and flexible to meet your needs. My journey to mental healthcare I am a third-generation social worker, raised to understand and care deeply about the core tenets of social work: service (empowering others), social justice, dignity and worth of people, the importance of human relationships, integrity, and competence. I am passionate about helping others through difficult seasons of life. My goals for you I encourage my clients to set their own goals for therapy and regularly check in to measure progress. If something is not working, we adjust to ensure your goals are being met. My first session with you During our first session, I will learn about your motivation for seeking therapy. We will discuss treatment goals, review background and relevant family history, and cover general housekeeping items.
