Welcome! I'm so glad you're here. Whether you're a child, teen, young adult, or adult, my goal is to create a safe space where you can explore challenges, build healthy coping skills, and improve communication in your daily life. My approach As a friendly and compassionate therapist, I work with individuals ages 10+, offering support through a person-centered approach and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Wherever you are on your journey, I’m here to walk alongside you. My focus I have worked with children, teens, and young adults to help with academic and behavioral issues. I love working with highly functioning autistic teenagers and ADHD clients who need help working on managing emotions and understanding their parents. I also help kids, teens, and young adults focus on organizing/scheduling tasks to make life go smoother. For adults, I can help you with work stressors, life stressors, managing emotions, and helping you find better thinking strategies for everyday problems. My communication style I want you to feel like you have an online friend, so sessions are led by you, and I just help guide the way. I set up each session to allow you to vent about your week, inform me of stressors you encountered, and then I help you problem solve. Sessions are very relaxed, and I try not to use worksheets and homework. I like for clients to unload and feel prepared for the next week. My journey to mental healthcare I have always loved to help people and I want to stop the stigma of "tv therapy" being negative. I help you stay informed of your care so you understand what is being done. I started as an elementary school counselor and moved into mental health therapy. My goals for you As a client, you will keep a journal or mood tracker to gather information about your week and then we can monitor different therapeutic aspects that way. My job is to guide you and help reframe thoughts so that you can better reach your goals.
