This is not easy work, but no great adventure ever was. My approach Your perceptions and the thoughts you believe to be true affect how you feel. The mind is powerful and can also change. This is the foundation of the CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) methods I use with every client. Brainspotting is another method I integrate at appropriate times to help you reprocess trauma and overcome triggers. This somatic approach uses the unique way our eyes focus on a point in space to connect with neural pathways and subconscious brain regions, triggering sensations throughout your body. Testing, Empathy, Agenda setting, and Methods are all necessary steps we will go through as we team up. I’m like your guide, and it’s up to you to take the tools and apply them outside of sessions as we learn them. It’s dynamic, challenging, and empowering, and I often see clients for less than six months before they feel equipped to move on from therapy. Let’s do this! My focus My ideal client is ready for more than traditional talk therapy. They want change and tools. They are ready to commit to daily homework such as reading and practicing tools so they can truly learn how to change their mindset and make it last once we find the tools that click for them.
