Jacquellin Harris, LCSW

Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there, I'm Jacquellin! My name is Jacquellin Harris, LCSW. I earned my Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California. My approach is cognitive-based while also incorporating mindfulness techniques. I primarily work with those struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, and life transitions. My approach Have you felt disconnected from yourself? Have you had moments where you take things for granted and don't fully appreciate what is happening in the present? Often, with our busy daily lives, we don't take the time to check in with ourselves physically, mentally, or emotionally. Being more mindful and aware of how our mind and body interact and influence each other can help reduce anxiety and depression symptoms, improve mood, and give us a better understanding of ourselves. It also allows us to appreciate the world around us through a more positive lens. Mindfulness helps people become more aware of the present moment and remove judgment. By focusing on our thoughts and awareness, this approach teaches us to recognize distortions and change thinking patterns to improve daily functioning. My focus My client focus is on those struggling with complex trauma, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, exploring life transitions, and negative thought processes. My communication style My goal is to create a safe space where clients feel comfortable discussing difficult topics. I want clients to feel free to share their thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment.
