Getting to know Jadelyn Wang

My educational and professional background has afforded me the experience of working with a vast array of clientele and has allowed me to recognize the importance of flexibility and adaptability as a therapist. My strong communication skills and years of experience working with diverse groups allow me to move with ease among clients of varied backgrounds and different levels of responsibility. I possess a tremendous amount of patience, trustworthiness, ethics, communication skills, and the utmost respect for patient confidentiality. My experience includes working with cases involving trauma, childhood abuse, domestic violence, mood disorder, family conflict, depression, and anxiety. I have worked with both men and women who face the challenges that come with infertility, loss, pregnancy, and the postpartum year. I gained tremendous exposure to crisis intervention and worked as a member of a crisis intervention team. These experiences have cultivated my ability to remain calm and objective during periods of extreme stress for individuals and their families. I thrive when I am able to help clients and their families process emotions and learn coping skills to deal with everyday stressors and decrease symptoms. With the necessary tools and skills, it is easier to identify triggers, notice warning signs, and find ways to better prepare for oncoming stressors and challenges. I have training in CBT, DBT, SFT, and Trauma Informed that have been proven to be effective that prioritize a client’s individual experience and the client/therapist.

My therapeutic style is direct but supportive. I have a down-to-earth nature, sense of humor, and a personable demeanor. I collaborate with clients to identify and enlist their internal strengths and resources to approach life’s challenges. I possess a tremendous amount of patience, trustworthiness, ethics, communication skills, and the utmost respect for patient confidentiality. I believe that each person has their own story that has shaped what they are currently experiencing. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the foundation upon all of my work to be built upon. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
