Therapeutic alliance helps individuals grow within and become aware of their own needs. My approach My first approach I enjoy sharing with my clients, is cognitive behavior therapy. This approach focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns to improve emotions and behaviors. It’s widely used for anxiety, depression, and stress management by helping individuals reframe their thinking. As we get farther into the session, we can utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) builds on CBT but places a stronger emphasis on emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. It’s particularly useful for individuals struggling with intense emotions or borderline personality disorder. During our session, we will begin Mindfulness skills, which encourage being fully present in the moment, accepting thoughts and feelings without judgment. It’s often integrated into therapy to reduce stress, improve emotional regulation, and enhance overall well-being. My focus Active Listening is a communication technique where the listener fully concentrates, understands, and responds thoughtfully to the speaker. It fosters deeper connections, improves relationships, and reduces misunderstandings. Building rapport with you will help you understand the importance of increasing communication and developing I statements
