Getting to know Janelle Gallardo

I would like to first congratulate you on being here and taking that first step toward improving your mental health. If you are an adult trying to navigate the physical and mental struggles of anxiety and depression, seeking help to identify more effective ways to cope and manage symptoms, improve your interactions and communication with others, enhance your overall outlook on life and lived experiences, or even if you are just looking for someone to listen to your story in a nonjudgmental space, you have come to the right place. I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from California Baptist University, and together, we will find the treatment style that works best for you in helping you find balance and fulfillment in your life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I have worked in private practice, in-home support, detention, community college, and the county system. I recognize that no two people are the same and therefore do not have a "one size fits all" approach to therapy. What I can tell you is that progress can be made as long as you are committed to doing the work. I offer my own personal stye while incorporating skills adapted from models such as ACT, CBT, Solution-Focused, Exposure, Person Centered and EMDR.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
