I am Jeanette M. Merchant, a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. I am very happy to be a therapist with PATH and to reach out to people who seek a better path and greater happiness in life. I am a graduate of the University of San Francisco, where I earned my Master's in Counseling, and I have been licensed for over 20 years. I have experience in many areas and have found my passion in addressing a variety of life's challenges. I believe offering various techniques to meet each unique person where they are is essential and a key part of my practice. Counseling is offered using a variety of perspectives, including Christian and spiritual approaches. I work with individuals, couples, and families to help improve their relationships. Many people find my trauma-informed techniques-such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-helpful. I also have a long history of providing treatment and education to parents and guardians who need additional positive parenting methods to build happier families. I am a member of the American Association of Marriage & Family Therapists and am licensed in California and Oregon.
