Getting to know Jennifer Drown

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with over 10 years of experience as a therapist, clinical supervisor, and assistant director at a treatment facility serving individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. My approach As an LMFT, my goal is to help individuals improve their mental health, address relationship difficulties, and adjust to challenging life changes. I take a client-centered approach, utilizing a combination of solution-focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. My focus I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds, including various ethnicities, cultures, socioeconomic statuses, religions/spiritualities, sexual orientations, and gender identities. I specialize in treating mood disorders, substance abuse, family and relational problems, PTSD, women’s issues, trauma, and domestic/intimate partner violence. My communication style I have a compassionate and open communication style and am easy to talk to. My journey to mental healthcare I enjoy working with individuals to improve their overall mental health. My goals for you I collaborate with clients to explore and set their personal goals, working together to find ways to achieve them.
