Jessica Miller, LCSW

Jessica Miller, LCSW

Psychotherapist
CA
I specialize in supporting children and adults who have experienced childhood trauma, other trauma, foster care, adoption, and parents of children with these experiences. I have worked with children and adults for over 15 years as a social worker and LCSW. I earned my Master's in Social Work from California State University, Sacramento. Being a foster and adoptive mom, I have both personal and professional experience with childhood trauma, foster care, and adoption. My purpose is to walk alongside you and support you as you face your challenges and work towards your goals. Often facing anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship problems, behavioral challenges, and self-harm, people will find a warm and understanding environment to address what is bothering them, find hope, and work towards the healthier life they want. I am EMDR trained, a TBRI Practitioner, and adoption competent. I utilize these skills as well as cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment theory, systems theory, play therapy, and Brainspotting when working with individuals and families.
