Jessica Wagner, LMHC

Psychotherapist
MA
Many people come to therapy with insight into their struggles, yet still feel stuck repeating patterns that feel hard to shift. This is often where our work begins. I specialize in supporting individuals and couples seeking greater connection with themselves and their relationships, especially as anxiety or depression arises in response to pregnancy, the postpartum period, or other meaningful life transitions. Stepping into parenthood is a profound rite of passage that is deeply meaningful and emotionally complex, reshaping identity and partnership. I help clients make sense of these shifts, deepen insight, and strengthen connection

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is playful, humorous, and deeply rooted in curiosity and authenticity. I blend somatic-informed and attachment-based practices and training to support you in deepening self-awareness, self-compassion and a greater trust in your own decision making. Together, we’ll foster wholeness while leaving room for connection and lightness along the way.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, we’ll begin by getting to know what’s bringing you to therapy and what feels most present for you right now. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out—this time is about slowing down, noticing what comes up as you share, and beginning to settle into a sense of safety and connection in the space together. We’ll gently explore what you’re hoping for and what you want to feel different in your life, while moving at a pace that feels supportive and grounded.
