Welcome! Starting therapy is a big step, and I am happy you are here and hopeful we can do great work together. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, specializing in depression, anxiety, life transitions, and trauma. I use a client-centered, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach, incorporating aspects of evidence-based modalities such as CBT and DBT. I am here to create a safe, supportive, and motivating environment for us to work in together. I welcome you to reach out whenever you are ready to begin. I utilize evidence-based modalities to foster the most growth and change, while approaching all sessions through a trauma-informed and strengths-based lens, in order to foster compassion and understanding. Together we can work on acceptance and change, increasing self-esteem, challenging negative thoughts and patterns, and processing trauma and its impacts. I believe in a person-in-environment approach and understand the interconnection between individuals and their surroundings. I meet each client individually where they are and tailor all sessions to fit their current needs.
