Jordan Gray, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there, I'm Jordan! My name is Jordan Gray, and I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT #106723) with a Master's in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University, San Francisco Bay Area. I have nearly nine years of clinical experience, having treated over 125 consumers. I focus on adolescents (13 to 17), young adults (18 to 24), and adults (25 to 65+). In session, I strive to be compassionate, direct, approachable, and transparent. My approach Though trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), I primarily use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing to cultivate the individual experience. My focus I typically work with consumers treated for anxiety, depression, mood disorders, neurodivergent issues, ADHD, impulse control, bipolar disorder, burnout, and life transitions (e.g., graduation, career moves, relocation, loss of relationships such as breakup or divorce). My communication style I remain transparent and direct. If you have questions, I'll answer them or find someone who can. I believe collaboration is key to meaningful growth, with a client-centered focus. My goals for you I operate under the acronym SMART. The goals we develop will be Specific, Measurable, Attainable/Accurate, Realistic, and Time Sensitive. SMART goals help take steps, even small ones, toward bigger objectives. My first session with you In the first session, I review policies and procedures, conduct initial intake and interview questions, and plan the first three sessions. The second session focuses on history gathering and understanding you before deep process work. By the third session, assuming rapport develops, a treatment plan with SMART objectives will be completed.
