Juana Fulton, LCSW

Psychotherapist
CA
Hi, my name is Juana Fulton, and I am a bilingual (English & Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California, providing individual therapy via telehealth. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from San Diego State University. I work with young adults, adults, and seniors from diverse backgrounds who experience depression, anxiety, stress, mood fluctuations, substance use disorder (SUD), difficulties managing relationships, emotions, and life transitions such as school, work, parenting, divorce, and loss. I use various theoretical approaches tailored to each client’s needs. My approach I believe in meeting clients where they are, collaborating compassionately as a team (client/therapist), and using a variety of therapeutic interventions. This allows clients to progress at their own pace without pressure. I frequently use evidence-based interventions such as Person-Centered, supportive therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. These help clients manage thoughts, feelings, and behavior, improve problem-solving, navigate life complexities, enhance relationships, achieve long-term sobriety, and reach therapy goals. My focus I have worked with minors, teenagers, young adults (18-26), adults, and seniors (60+) in settings including outpatient behavioral health centers for severe mental illness, medical community clinics, juvenile probation, shelters for minors, and mobile mental health agencies for seniors. This experience has prepared me to work effectively with adults struggling with trauma, personality disorders, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, life transitions, and work challenges.
