Hi there, I'm K. Sue! K. Sue Duncan. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 31 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges. I hold a Master’s in Counseling from John F. Kennedy University. My work is rooted in warmth, compassion, and a genuine connection with my clients. I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey, and I meet each person where they are, helping them set meaningful goals for growth and healing. My approach I use Psychodynamic, client-centered, and somatic methods. My focus Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds, specializing in areas such as life transitions, grief and loss, LGBTQ+ issues, and self-esteem. I’ve been deeply involved in training the next generation of therapists and teaching at various colleges and universities. Sharing my knowledge and experience with students has been a rewarding extension of my passion for this work. My communication style I work to create a safe space for clients. My client-centered approach ensures that every individual feels heard, understood, and empowered to create change at their own pace. My journey to mental healthcare I lost a partner to a tragic accident in my mid-twenties, and therapy saved me. I also worked at an emergency veterinary clinic and facilitated support groups for people who had just lost their pets.
