My primary focus is helping you move past difficult times, cope with significant changes, and enjoy your life's potential. I earned my Master's in Counseling from the University of Phoenix, which has equipped me with the skills to support you effectively. I have worked in inpatient psychiatric units, specializing in PTSD, as well as crisis stabilization, substance use, and group therapy. I also support family members who have loved ones with mental health issues. I specialize in grief and loss, and domestic violence. Additionally, I have experience in a hospital emergency room setting and am currently certified and trained to assess and evaluate 5150 criteria. Kathy is very compassionate
I received great care from my therapist. I learned great skills using CBT, breaking down my thoughts and understanding them, learning about anxiety and how to deal with it, reframing my thoughts, being kind and compassionate to myself. I am feeling so much better.
