Katy Keller, LPC

Psychotherapist
CO
I am a licensed professional counselor with over 15 years of experience and a Master's in Clinical Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado. I am an individualized therapist, which means we'll talk about your concerns, goals, and preferences, then create a collaborative treatment plan tailored for you. I strongly believe that each person has the right to have a say in their own treatment, so I listen carefully and respect your wants and needs. Have any questions? Just ask! I strive to help you feel comfortable communicating your needs so I can support you in the way that works best for you. My approach is eclectic, drawing from many modalities to offer tools that fit your unique situation. I use CBT, DBT, EMDR, boundary work, solution-focused techniques, and other approaches, allowing me to tailor therapy to each individual. If a specific style or tool doesn't work for you, I can offer alternatives. I specialize in anxiety, ADHD, depression, LGBTQ+ issues, and trauma. I also have extensive experience helping individuals set boundaries, navigate challenging relationships, develop healthy communication and relationship skills, and manage difficult life events. If you're unsure whether I'd be a good fit for your concerns, feel free to reach out and ask. My communication style is warm, open, and accepting. Since therapy often involves difficult topics, I do my best to create a comfortable and supportive environment. You can expect to be treated with respect, listened to, and free to bring up anything you want in session. If something isn't working, I want to know so I can better serve you. I've been in the therapy field for over 15 years, and there isn't a day that goes by without learning something new. I have a passion for helping clients feel and be their best, and seeing you succeed is what keeps me in this field.
