My preferred (middle) name is Devonne. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist. I have also obtained my Certification as a Sexuality Coach. I earned my Master's in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. My approach I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered Theoretical approaches. I have extensive experience in psychodynamic and crisis-related interventions. I have contracted with a psychiatric facility that treats recovering opioid addicts who require substance abuse counseling. My focus I have experience working with both mental health and substance abuse individuals across youth, adolescents, and adults. My communication style I help clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, intimacy-related issues, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
