Hi, my name is Kristin Lokey, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Fresno, California, supporting clients through telehealth. I am committed to finding a supportive path to help my clients progress and simply feel better.
I earned my Master's in Social Work from California State University, Fresno, which laid the foundation for my work in mental health.
My approach
I frequently use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy to support clients at various stages of life. My focus is helping clients uncover the root of their distress and the challenges that come with it. This approach empowers internal problem-solving by providing tools to work through those issues.

I also support clients navigating issues related to sexuality, gender identity, and expression. I feel strongly about guiding clients through serious life transitions as well as new life experiences.

I have a bold, head-on approach to therapy. I believe I am approachable and will support you in drawing out the things you may not feel comfortable discussing right away. I am extremely open-minded and want all my clients to feel supported. I meet clients where they are, meaning we start where you are. I am here to support you through the process.
My journey to mental healthcare
When I began my social work education, I never imagined I would end up in mental health. It took many unexpected turns for me to realize that my calling as a social worker was in this field. I have learned firsthand that mental health stigma exists and that many people feel too embarrassed to seek help. I am driven to support people during their most difficult moments and to be available for those who just need a little guidance.
