“She's very understanding and patient. I'm comfortable talking to her. I know all therapists are supposed to be nonjudgmental, but I've heard horror stories in the past, and I never at any given point felt like that with her. What helped me out a lot was her background as well. It's nice to find someone with the same cultural background to help understand the nuisances of my issues. I love that even when I don't completely do certain tasks she assigned me to work on for the week, she completely understands and is patient. She's also very encouraging.”

Overall, my approach is strengths-based, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive. I use varying modalities such as Solution-Focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness to fit the need.

I work with teens, young adults, and families as they navigate through difficulties such as combating trauma, anxiety, depression or other mood disorders, ADHD, family conflict, and issues relating to academic achievement.
