What should a new client know about working with you?

I have provided counseling services for adolescents, adults, and older adults, supporting clients through a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, substance use concerns, grief and loss, stress, and life transitions. I recognize that every individual's experiences are unique and are committed to helping clients build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and achieve meaningful personal growth. My experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant has strengthened my understanding of the connection between mental, physical, and emotional well-being, as well as the impact mental health has on daily functioning, independence, and quality of life.

Drawing from evidence-based approaches, I tailor treatment to each client's unique needs by integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). My collaborative approach empowers clients to gain insight, develop practical strategies for managing life's challenges, and work toward lasting emotional wellness. Whether clients are seeking support during a difficult season of life, managing a chronic mental health condition, processing trauma, pursuing personal growth, or seeking greater balance and well-being, I am committed to providing compassionate, culturally responsive care that fosters healing, hope, and lasting positive change.
