Getting to know Laura Laird

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in California with over 12 years of experience. I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix. I am passionate about working with adults, adolescents, and children to help them navigate challenges such as unresolved trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or whatever may be holding you back. My extensive therapeutic and life experiences allow me to better understand what you are going through and how to support your healing. Life can be difficult, complicated, and at times even traumatic, but it can also be filled with great joy and fulfillment. What is standing in the way of embracing the life you desire? It is not always easy to reach out for help, and I recognize and respect the courage it takes. I am here to support you on this journey. I am a person-centered therapist who works from a strength-based model, incorporating Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you access your inner resources for healing and change. One size does not fit all-no two people are the same, so no single therapy modality is right for everyone. I individualize treatment to ensure you receive what you need to reach your therapeutic and life goals. When you are willing to seek change, change will happen. Things can get better. Take that first step toward healing. I look forward to working with you!

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
