I’ve had iffy experiences in the past with therapy and was nervous going back into it, but she did a great job at quickly getting to the root of things and gave me different perspectives and ways to manage things all in our first session. I felt validated in my emotions and our conversation flowed well. I also never felt pressured to share any more than I was currently comfortable with as I have with other providers, which actually made me want to share more with her! Definitely reccomend :)”

Getting to know Lesley Hilp
Hello there! Thank you so much for perusing my profile. I am so proud of you for taking this step towards healing. A little bit about me: I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with six years of experience working with children, families, couples, and teenagers. I earned my Master's in Counseling from Saint Mary's College of California and my Bachelor's degree from Fordham University. I have worked in community-based health and have collaborated with individuals and families on coping with issues such as depression, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, parenting challenges, anxiety, substance abuse, setting boundaries, and building autonomy, confidence, and resilience.
My therapy philosophy is client-centered, focusing on building trust, rapport, and emotional safety within the therapeutic space. I aim to create an open and warm environment where individuals feel comfortable and safe to express themselves freely. I believe the primary agents of change are self-compassion, awareness, affect regulation, and resiliency.
I would be honored to work with you to build new behaviors and mindsets that can offer you relief and a deeper understanding of patterns so you can heal and thrive in all realms of your life.
