Hi there! My name is Leslie Godoy McCawley. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Chico. I specialize in working with young adults ages 17-26. The adulting journey can be exciting and full of growth, but also overwhelming and uncertain. I provide telehealth therapy services to Generation Z across California, helping individuals navigate the rough waters of young adulthood. My approach As a client-centered therapist, I guide you in your journey of self-discovery and support you in finding the answers you’ve been seeking. Based on your needs, my approach most commonly draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Multicultural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). My focus I have over 10 years of experience helping teens and young adults overcome issues related to generalized anxiety, social anxiety, depression, personal growth and self-esteem, body image issues, unhealthy eating behaviors, relationship issues, anger management, procrastination, identity issues, race-related stress, trauma, school stress management, and career stress.
