Hello, and welcome to this step in your journey! I'm genuinely excited to help you make meaningful progress and accomplish the goals you will set for yourself along the way. I specialize in working with trauma survivors, along with adults with several other mental health and wellness needs. I embrace a client-based approach with you as the leader of your journey and process, and I offer a variety of therapeutic approaches to match what will work best for your individual goals and needs. I am very much looking forward to working with you to find out how we can move in a direction you want to go! My approach I have been trained in and have utilized several approaches, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy for PTSD (PE), and Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD (CPT), and truly embrace a client-centered and positive psychology philosophy to assist in finding the most beneficial approach for you. I will work diligently to support you in identifying what your hopes and goals are for your health and well-being and to help you feel genuinely heard and understood through your journey. This will often be done with the inclusion of mindfulness and reflection while challenging belief systems and thought processes that you would like to change, regardless of the specific therapeutic approach, adjusting as we progress to your preferences and feedback. It is essential to me that you feel you are the expert in your own life and that I am here to provide you with support and guidance, allowing us to utilize the tools I have obtained as effectively as possible for you to gain meaning and value from the time we spend working together.
