Lindsey Soennichsen, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with 10 years of experience working with couples therapy, addiction and co-morbidity issues, anxiety and depression, parenting, motivational struggles, and stages of life changes. I graduated from California State University, Fresno in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in psychology and earned my master's in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy from the University of Phoenix in 2009. After completing my degree, I immediately began working in local drug treatment facilities in both detox and medication-assisted treatment. Through that experience, I developed expertise in addiction and co-morbidity issues and gained a deep understanding of the daily struggles faced by individuals dealing with mental health and addiction concerns, as well as how these combined challenges affect the entire family. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion while exploring the struggles that interfere with the changes you desire in life. I tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek clarity and a more fulfilling, happier life. Placing yourself and your growth first is important and the first step toward change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
