Hi there, I'm Lindsey! My name is Lindsey Wehn, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist located in Northern California. I practice via telehealth throughout California. I earned my Master?s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University. My approach to therapy is to align with you where you are in this moment and help guide you to the place you want to be. I have experience working with adults, children, and families who have experienced trauma, stress, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and life changes. I use various methods to help you reach your goals, depending on who you are and what works best for you. Some of my favorites are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-based approaches, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. My approach My therapeutic approach depends on what works for you and who you are. I like to use aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-based approaches, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy when working with clients. Most of all, I want to listen to what is going on for you, understand your point of view, and work with you to find the right path to reaching your goals. My focus My approach tends to work well with adults in various stages of life, particularly during challenging life transitions and the many roles we play as adults that can be stressful. I also have extensive experience, both personally and professionally, working with children, adolescents, and their parents and families. In all of these different phases and roles in life, I have seen individuals experience anxiety, depression, increased stress, and self-destructive behavior. I work with individuals to decrease their symptoms and improve their well-being. My communication style I pride myself on having an easy-going style of communication. I use non-judgment, no matter the issue, and truly listen to what is going on for my clients. I like to use humor when appropriate and engage in empathy at all times.
