Getting to know Lisa Ayala

Hello, I'm Lisa. Are you currently looking for some extra support to help you navigate a difficult situation? If stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, grief, adjustment issues, or relationship challenges are affecting your well-being, we can work together collaboratively. My goal is to help you develop new skills and rebuild your confidence so you can overcome life’s challenges. I have over 11 years of experience providing psychotherapy to adults, adolescents, children, and families, using several evidence-based therapy techniques. In our sessions, you can expect a caring, compassionate, and supportive approach that allows you to feel heard and empowered in a safe, non-judgmental environment. Let’s work together!

What should a new client know about working with you?

You can expect consistency in getting a therapeutic environment that is safe and non-judgmental. At the beginning of treatment, it may be awkward as the first few sessions are focused on building rapport and assessment with the goal to determine how to better help you. You can expect to increase your self-awareness over your thought patterns, learn new tools to better cope with difficult feelings, and most importantly leave session feeling supported.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
