What should a new client know about working with you?

work primarily with adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and stress related to work, family, or identity. I also support individuals experiencing postpartum concerns, mood disorders, and those struggling with self-esteem or managing anger. My ideal clients are individuals who may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected and are ready to explore new ways of thinking, feeling, and relating to others. Whether you're dealing with persistent worry, low motivation, unresolved grief, or difficulty setting boundaries, I create a nonjudgmental, supportive space where we can work together to better understand your experiences and identify meaningful, practical strategies for change. I also enjoy working with couples who want to improve communication, rebuild trust, or navigate conflict more effectively. In all cases, I tailor therapy to your unique needs using evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. My goal is to help you feel heard, empowered, and supported as you work toward greater peace, balance, and emotional well-being. My communication style is warm, collaborative, and direct. I aim to create a safe, respectful space where you feel comfortable being yourself, without fear of judgment. I believe in meeting you where you are emotionally and tailoring our conversations to fit your needs and comfort level. In sessions, you can expect me to be engaged, compassionate, and honest. I ask thoughtful questions, provide feedback when appropriate, and gently challenge unhelpful patterns so we can explore new perspectives together. Whether we’re processing emotions, exploring past experiences, or developing coping strategies, I maintain a supportive and down-to-earth tone that encourages openness and growth. Therapy is a partnership, and I’m here to walk beside you as we work toward your goals, at a pace that feels right for you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My journey to becoming a mental health provider began with a deep desire to help people feel seen, heard, and supported, especially during life’s most challenging moments. Early in my career, I worked in various behavioral health settings where I witnessed the powerful impact that compassionate, client-centered care can have on someone’s healing process. These experiences solidified my commitment to the field and inspired me to pursue my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Over the past 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside individuals and couples as they’ve worked through anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, life transitions, and more. Each client’s story has deepened my understanding of how complex, resilient, and resourceful people can be—and how important it is to have someone in your corner. My work is grounded in the belief that therapy should be a space where you feel safe, respected, and empowered to grow. Being a therapist is more than a profession for me—it’s a calling rooted in empathy, advocacy, and a genuine desire to help others find peace, purpose, and connection in their lives.
